Living with Chronic Health Conditions

Remember, you’re not alone. Many people understand the complexities of living with chronic conditions.

Living with Chronic Health Conditions

Matthew’s Journey

“After a serious car accident in 2017 I have been enduring constant and chronic physical pain it is impossibly challenging, I have to psychologically force a ‘mind over matter’ and it takes incredible strength and due diligence, this is a superpower to which not many people can understand and certainly not A superpower that anyone would welcome. My daily pain can only be described as: being slowly dragged through hell, whilst being electrocuted. I wake up every day with the fatigue as though I have just finished a marathon, alongside shaking like a washing machine.

Living with chronic health conditions can be challenging, but it’s essential to stay resilient and find ways to manage my daily life. Although I am awaiting operations and medical aid, and have been waiting for 8 years: I have had no choice but to continue running my business.

I am registered as disabled and not expected to work at all, as instructed by various medical teams that have assessed me, I have evidenced this multiple times to our government and associated benefit applications, yet I am not entitled to any form of disability benefit from “PIP” Personal Independence Payments. I have been applying for many years, I have experienced different outcomes which have results from 0 points to 8 points over various applications.

Every refusal and attached statement I have received is incorrect and has used falsified information to which I did not state, I have stated the opposite of the vast majority of what they have stated were my words, directly manipulating my words for their financial benefit defined by their contractual agreements to profit from failed applications.

I have no choice but to continue working until I am not able to walk anymore.this is directly as a result of a corrupt and negligent health service and government benefits system. I have children to feed and will continue to struggle through the corruption of governments, people, society and businesses simply to eat, sleep and work”
